My breastfeeding journey #4


Salam.

Arini nak cakap pasal breastfeeding lagi.. Belog ni da berbau susu daaa.. Hohoho..:p citer bersalin tu kena tunggu waktu betul2 lapang dulu sebab berjela-jela.. :))

Nape nak cakap pasal breastfeeding lagi?? Sebab skang mood tengah tak bape nak ok sebab production tak meriah.. :(( hopefully everything will be back to normal very soon.. Betul ke kedatangan cik P will affect milk production? Untuk orang lain saya tak tau but for my case yes it is.. Especially kalo waktu heavy flow.. Paling banyak saya dapat untuk one session is just only 5 oz!! Tension mak nak.. =_=' Ate nak kena pump lagi kerap la jadinya.. Kat umah ni plak takde stok EBM, sume kat umah mak.. Saya tak sempat nak buat stok sebab kami baru balik dari kampung ahad lepas.. Mifzal plak meragam semalam asyik nak berdukung pastu duk potpetpotpet bahasa jepun dia tak benti sampai la kul 12.30 tengah malam.. Apela yang duk bebelkan tu sayang?? Ke sebab ebu ngan abah botakkan kepala? Teheehee.. Semalam kami suami isteri gigih cukur kepala dia sampai botak licin silau gitu.. :)) rimas plak tengok rambut yang segan silu nak tumbuh sejak cukur masa dia umur 14 hari dulu.. Moyang incik hubby cakap kalo nak cepat tumbuh kena kerap cukur.. My SIL plak cakap letak minyak buah keras.. Tapi kami memang nak cukur pun nak bagi dia nampak lagi bolat gebu.. Hohoho.. :p

Ok, back to previous topic.. Saya terbaca di internet kalo waktu cik P datang memang pengeluaran susu akan berkurang especially waktu heavy flow.. Tapi bila flow tu da nak abis dia akan back to normal tapi saya tanakla tunggu je kan.. So ape yang saya buat semalam is saya minum susu *sarsi pon sempat minum jugak hohoho* and saya makan supplement calcium magnesium.. Alhamdulillah pagi ni pam da dapat 7 oz.. Baru boleh senyum.. :)) pasni nak makan kurma plak.. Eh eh kantoi tak pose ekkk... Haha.. alaaa.. Allah da bagi cuti kannnn... ^__^

"For some women, the drop in milk supply and nipple tenderness associated with menstruation becomes more of a challenge. An effective treatment for these symptoms associated with the return of periods is to add a calcium/magnesium supplement to the diet upon ovulation and continue it through the second or third day of a period. The supplement should be 1500 calcium/750 magnesium but can be as low as 500 calcium/250 magnesium (the higher the dosage the more effective and quicker the results). It should be a combination pill. This much calcium should never be taken alone. If your cycles are not regular and you do not know when you ovulate, you can take the supplement the entire month until you begin to see a pattern to your flow. This type of supplement seems to work as it prevents the drop in blood calcium levels which occurs mid-cycle and continues through the second to third day of a period. It is this drop which is associated with the nipple tenderness and drop in milk supply as well as the uterine cramping so often experienced with menstruation. You only need to take one pill a day."
